We are a family of 5 (2 parents + 3 kids) really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It offers the comfort of a typical hotel with friendly staff, and each room has a small kitchen if you prefer to cook your own meals. The hotel's location is perfect – it's situated in a historic city center, close to all the shops and restaurants, but it's not too noisy. The rooms are very clean, although not very spacious. However, the furniture is arranged cleverly, making the stay comfortable. The view from the balcony overlooks a plaza surrounded by historic buildings, which is quite lovely. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

Facilities at Sercotel Puerta de la Catedral include free WiFi throughout the hotel. It is in the heart of the old town, on the same square as Salamanca’s Cathedrals.

From the time we arrived, the staff, Carlos and Silvia, were amazing. Friendly and super helpful. When they saw we had lots of luggage they offered us a bigger room. The welcoming bottle of Cava and snacks were really appreciated. Carlos gave us advice regarding the places to visit and the restaurants to eat at. Breakfast was great . The room was wonderful and overall an exceptional visit. The best hotel we have ever stayed at.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Salamanca Montalvo. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings and the beautiful views. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with something for everyone. Also lunch meals were good. The hotel is also conveniently located, just a short drive from the historic center of Salamanca. Overall, a great value for the price—I would definitely stay here again!

The location couldn’t be better……right in the Centre of the old town. Parking under the hotel was a bonus 15€ per day. Everything right on the doorstep.
