Situated beside Leeds' city centre, The Clayton Hotel Leeds is just off the M1, at Junction 3 of the M621 motorway. Leeds Bradford International Airport is just 20 minutes' drive away.

The hotel is in a great position, it only takes around 10 minutes to walk into the centre, the car park located underneath the hotel was very convenient also. £12 for overnight parking was very reasonable. The lift took us straight from the car park to the reception area where the staff were friendly and informative. Our room was on the 3rd floor. We had a King with a single and it was a decent size (only two adults staying). The decor feels a bit dated and the room was a bit basic but oh wow the bed was super comfortable, it’s the best night sleep we’ve had in years! The rooms are soundproof so we couldn’t hear anyone and the curtains kept out the light. it was bliss! The bathroom was also basic, it had a bath with an overhead shower, not a separate shower cubicle. Upon arriving back at 11pm we were greeted by a member of security who checked our names and room number before allowing us to go to our room (a great way to keep guests safe, well done Clayton) We left it too late to have breakfast so can’t comment on that. Overall we had a fab stay and would 100% return for the beds alone!

Lovely, modern, spacious room. Had booked the hotel mainly for its location and parking, and it was a real bonus that the hotel itself was so lovely. We enjoyed a post-dinner drink in the bar, which had reasonable prices and a very pleasant staff member. The underground parking was absolutely brilliant, as we were doing a student house move and needed to leave a lot of things in the car overnight. The location, being right in the city, was perfect. All in all, a rather stressful weekend was made much more pleasant by our stay at the Novotel, which felt like an oasis of calm. I would definitely stay there again.

The huge bed was so comfortable. The central location is very handy for the train station, bars and restaurants and the shops. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful.

Location. Went to see a concert in Millennium square which was 2 mins up the road plus central to shopping & city sights.

Once a bus and tram company office, this hotel retains its unique architecture, including a vaulted ceiling and quirky rooms, which come in different shapes and sizes.

The hotel is super close to the station and everything else in Leeds centre. We had an amazing stay, the room was super comfortable and they even set up a little station for our dog including a goody bag which was so cute! Can’t recommend enough!

I liked the location, which was quiet and surrounded by trees. Breakfast was brilliant. I like the restaurant on the side, which is very handy. After a long trip, you can go straight to the restaurant , take a meal, and go back to the number.
