The service was amazing, as soon as we walked into the dining area we were greeted by Brandon , a Johnny Depp doppelgänger. He was so lovely, super helpful, served us our evening meal and also breakfast. Nothing was too much to ask of him. Our evening meal and breakfast was 5 stars. The manager Andy was wonderful and knowledgeable of the hotels history. Our room , the food the service was 5 star.💗

Charming historic hotel with very nice pub/restaurant. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, the food is delicious and the staff is very nice and helpful. The location is also very central and close to all that you would want to see.

Set in Heysham, near Half Moon Bay, The Port House is a historic guest house that has a shared lounge. This guest house offers free private parking and a shared kitchen.

Superb quality, spotlessly clean, and an amazingly comfortable and luxurious bed, which was so welcome after a midnight arrival off the Isle of Man ferry, I just wasn’t expecting this level of luxury and service at such a budget price, will definitely be staying here again!

Overlooking Lancaster Canal, Toll House Inn is just metres from shops and restaurants. It has free Wi-Fi access, a bar and a restaurant. Toll House Inn is a historic building with bedrooms.

The staff were super helpful and easy-going. The breakfast was an excellent start to the day. Housekeeping was done daily and also refilled the snack box.

Right alongside the River Lune in central Lancaster, this traditional pub serves real ales and hearty full English breakfast.

The suite was spotlessly clean, very spacious, well equipped and had a sauna and jacuzzi! Eclectic interior design done very well by the owner who was very helpful. The included breakfast cooked with obvious care was excellent.

In landscaped gardens on the edge of the Lake District, Grange Hotel has a swimming pool and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Lake Windermere is 5 miles away.

Lovely hotel! Right next to the train station. Proper English breakfast each morning, very lovely staff all around and I especially loved the stylish interior. For some it might be timely, but it really sets itself apart from all these modern hotels which just lack character.
