My one-week stay at Niyagama House was fabulous with the high standards the facility offers, the green with all those bird sounds in the morning mesmerized me. It was also so relaxing for my body and soul doing meditation & yoga with Elke every day, nourishing myself with the great food from the restaurant. Great location close to Galle and Unawatuna town where there is lots to do and see. Lots of nice restaurants. Villa food, especially the breakfast, also great mind you! Room was massive, facilities great. Lovely to be able to sit with the sea a stones throw away. Staff very pleasant.

I couldn’t recommend this lovely hotel more: the facilities, the private beach, the delicious food and the welcoming staff made our stay a fantastic one. It is also far from all the business of Unawatuna so you can enjoy some silence; however, if you do want a chance of scenery and want to experience the crowds, it is like a 20 min walk or a 5 min tuk tuk ride.

Beautiful hotel accross a picturesque beach. The rooms are spacious and so comfortable. The staff are super lovely and attentive. The food is beyond delicious. Was able to try traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. Overall the best hotel in Sri Lanka. Totally recommended. I would rate it 20/10.
