To be honest, it is hard to say that the room condition or service quality is equal or better than 5-star hotels. So if you expect perfection as a hotel, you may be slightly disappointed. The room condition is a bit old. However, the experience of staying here cannot be evaluated simply by the quality of the accommodation. It is the best. This is an amazingly beautiful resort covered in nature. My stay at Ayugiri will remain in my heart & soul for many years to come. Staff were truly amazing, so friendly and always with big smiles all around. Ayurveda treatments were really good. My therapist Mangala is a true gem. I feel reborn & rejuvenated. Meals were exceptionally tasty & served only healthy cuisine. I am sad My stay at this little heaven was too short. I am already looking forward to my next visit to this paradise.

Beautiful place. Isolated from the town but the location is beautiful. You can ride bike around the rice field and lake. If you’re lucky see an elephant. The woman at the elephant centre was very nice and we learnt a lot! I am glad we stop for a chat. The diner experience was amazing! We booked the traditional diner with 27 dishes cooked traditionally in clay pot and open fire. I recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay, especially on such short notice! Nimal and his team went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after. The villa was incredible, placing you right in the centre of nature and on each walk to the restaurant, we saw beautiful birds and even a peacock! My wife and I were both treated to the famous Sri Lankan hospitality, as mentioned by our friends who visited this beautiful country and hats off to the chef for producing mouthwatering food! The chef even taught us how to make pol roti, a delicious breakfast item in Sri Lanka. We wish we booked more days as the resort offers so much! We will certainly recommend this beautiful resort to our friends and even come back here. Thanks, Wild Grass team for the memorable stay!

This hotel is amazing! It's a bit outside of the city, but the big rooms with magnificent views, good restaurants serving amazing food, and the pool with views are incredible. I have no complaints.

Cannot thank the staff enough. We had the best 7 days on Sri Lanka thanks to their amazing hospitality. The room was massive and we had 2 interconnected rooms that were very clean and well maintained. The food was incredible and well worth paying for half board. My kids asked if we could stay forever! This place will have a little place in our hearts and I honestly cannot recommend the place enough. Thank you
