Amazing boutique heritage property! All of the accommodation is unique and beautifully maintained. Staff are not only welcoming but will do anything to make you stay as comfortable as possible. Warm welcome on arrival and such a lovely room. Much bigger than the pics suggest and set around a great (and quiet) pool in a tropical garden. It really is like a huge apartment, massive comfortable bed, cosy sitting room, spacious kitchen area, great dressing room area near the bathroom and big terrace to sit and listen to tropical birdsong and see monkeys swinging through the trees. Such a change from big impersonal hotels, the staff are all really lovely and the breakfast is a real treat. You are a few minutes walk from the beach and a 10 -15 walk to the busy Penang strip. Plenty of eateries around both Western and Malaysian. We loved it.
