The hotel is beautiful, set in a quiet location in the town of Ponta Delgada on the gorgeous and idyllic island of São Miguel. The common areas of the hotel are spacious and comfortable and the game room with a billiard table was fun for the evening after getting a drink from the bar. The room had a great view of the outdoor swimming pool. The bed was incredibly comfy and the room was spacious and had plenty of storage. The included Nespresso machine in the room was an excellent bonus. The facilities such as gym, steam room, sauna, pool and jacuzzi were great.

VIP Executive Azores features a restaurant with panoramic ocean views. The hotel is less than 1 km from Ponta Delgada Marina.

Our room was quite large, I would say larger than the average hotel room; since we had a bit of a longer stay, this was appreciated. The breakfast in the morning was varied and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, gave us pointers on certain attractions, and they provide beach towels for whenever you decide to visit the beach or a thermal pool.

The colourful Vintage Place - Azorean Guest House is located in S. Miguel Island, within a 5-minute walk from the historical Ponta Delgada centre.

Ideal place for a short stay, e.g. on the first or last day when coming from or heading to the airport. It is just a few minutes from the airport and it would actually be possible to walk there. Taxi reservation for our early morning flight was also flawless. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety.
