As my flight to Stockholm was cancelled, I picked out this hotel out of the hotel list on Booking.com right after I confirmed with SAS customer service rep that I needed to stay overnight in Visby. To my surprise, the hotel was a jewel. The hotel is in a medieval establishment, and my wife and I enjoyed the setting including such a romantic bed. A hotel reception lady was so friendly and full of hospitality that she gave us breakfast packs of sandwiches, boiled eggs and yogurt. She also made a taxi arrangement so that we could reach Visby Airport in the early morning without a delay, I fully recommend the hotel operated by such good staff.

Kalk Hotel is boutique hotel located on Strandgatan, in a beautiful building from the 17th century, carefully renovated with a stylish interior and Gotland details.

The hotel was so clean and we loved the boutique feel. The reception staff were very helpful. The Jensen bed was really comfortable and the pillows and bedding lovely. The power shower was phenomenal! There was lots of choice in the buffet breakfast - including delicious little pots of overnight oats and chia pots, fresh crusty bread and lovely scrambled eggs.

Hotell Slottsbacken is just a few minutes’ walk from Visby’s main street, Adelsgatan.

The breakfast is great, the beds very comfortable, the room has a great atmosphere with a view over the harbour and the location is just perfect. The final thing to point out is that the staff is excellent. One person to mention especially is Sandra in the reception who is a real gem and very professional while still being personal and social.

This hotel is right next to Gotland Museum in Visby’s medieval city centre, 500 metres from Visby's sea front. Hotel Visby Börs offers a variety of suites, rooms and apartments in different stiles.

The interior is just outstanding. You feel like living in 19-th century mansion, this is a very memorable experience. Breakfast was also good, with quite a variety of food.

This harbour side hotel is just across the street from Gotland’s ferry terminal and 10 minutes’ walk from Visby’s medieval city centre, itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Very good breakfast.Location was perfekt.Close to the ferries. Quiet, even if it was very windy during our stay.

The apartment was tastefully decorated and well thought through - enough space and equipment for cooking, storage and etc. The location is very convenient as it is within a few minutes walk to the main square and all the restaurants. It is also just 5min walk from the sea. Public paid parking can be found all around the building within 1 min walk. Would love to come back there again!

Great location. Spacious, well equipped house. We were really satisfied. The view from the room was super nice. Communication with the host was very good.

We stayed in Casa Kruttornet, which is perfect for 3-4 people. It is located within the Visby wall, 50 meters from parking lot and the sea side, 5 minutes walk form the City main Square. The apartament was perfectly clean and had everything what one may need.

This intimate hotel is centrally situated 50 metres from Visby’s harbour and about 5 minutes’ walk from the popular shopping street, Adelsgatan. It offers free WiFi and cosy, bright guest rooms.
