A beautiful little historic hotel nestled in a walled garden in the north of the amazing Medival town of Visby. Our room was clean, cosy and comfortable.The staff were extremely helpful, giving us good local recommendations and completing bookings. The breakfast was a real highlight with delicious homemade goods and a good range of choices to keep everyone happy. We would definitely recommend Hotel Helgeand Wisby!

We stayed in Casa Kruttornet, which is perfect for 3-4 people. It is located within the Visby wall, 50 meters from parking lot and the sea side, 5 minutes walk form the City main Square. The apartament was perfectly clean and had everything what one may need.

We stayed in the ocean front bungalow in the first row close the sea. It was fantastic! Two spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary cooking facilities. We even had a first quality grill in the patio! The room was completely silent in the night, only the sound of the sea could be slightly heard. All bungalows (I would say real villas) are bit different, but ocean front might be one of the best:) In the first row bungalows there are also showers in the patio with warm water. There were some boardgames for kids in the room as well. Very friendly and polite stuff. Room cleaning service every day. Breakfast is ok also. For early check out they have breakfast bag for you, just mention in the reception that you need it. You'll get very good breakfast in the evening directly to your room. The swimming pool is nice and warm. Highly recommend ocean front bungalows! Only 10min walk along sea promenade to the old town via extremely beautiful botanical garden.

Hotell Slottsbacken is just a few minutes’ walk from Visby’s main street, Adelsgatan.
