We upgraded our room after the booking and it had the size of an apartment, with breathtaking views from the 3rd floor and large bathroom. The interior design has a unique style overall, perfectly balancing modern and traditional influences. Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull all the time, e.g. helping us to book a rental car (which you need here). Baisha beach is just a 5 minutes drive away.

Situated in Hengchun and only 2.3 km from Houbihu Marine Protected Area Beach, The Light features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The owner and their employees are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was great and for a few days they were willing to offer me breakie-to-go according to my needs which was incredibly nice. It’s definitely a great choice and will come back for sure!

The owner is so nice! We had a good time in Hengchun so we wanted to stay one extra night and it was fine. In our first room the Aircon didn't function very well but the owner immediately changed rooms for us and gave us some extra complimental drinks. It's maybe a little far a walk from center so we recommend you rent a motorbike if you want to explore the area. We rented a motorbike in front of the gongcha store, you will see it when you get out of the bus. Also clean hotel and very spacious. Has a small but nice pool on the roof.

The place is very nicely decorated and clean. Within walking distance to the bus station. Host is very helpful to receive us when we arrived after the check in time.
