We wanted a comfortable hotel close to Joburg airport, but not in the airport “complex”. The Mondior hotel was ideal. The friendly greeting at reception upon our arrival made a great first impression. We found all the staff to be very helpful, friendly and engaging. The room was spotless, comfortable and couldn’t be improved.

Super nice place to stay after a long flight. The staff at the restaurant really went all out to make us comfortable and feeling welcome.

They give you a Ducky for your bath. Rare to find management with a sense of humour. When I saw that bath after a week in the bush in Zambia, i nearly wept! Quirky decor. Bang on the best location. Food was excellent. I dont think we stay anywhere else in Joburg in the future.. And it is the little things that count. A make up mirror near a window. Much appreciated. Bath that easily takes 2. Proper coffee. Quality iron and ironing board. Crispy linen. Crazy fast room service. Breakfast was bang on. The statue at the bathrooms makes using a public toilet, my pet hate, amusing and intriguing. Oh and Melrose Arch rocks.
