really fantastic place with very picturesque location at the end of the valley but only 5 minutes drive to the centre of Franschhoek, great views, quiet, luxurious and relaxed atmosphere, in the vineyards, nice pool, very friendly staff, we stayed in the honeymoon suite which was exceptional

On my return to L'ermitage I'd say it's the same place, same standards, same hospitality, hence when I come back this side L'ermitage will be my first choice again. Breakfast was fabulous. A selection of juices, fruits, yoghurts , cold meats , pastries to choose from and a menu of hot choices served to you at your table. Staff were professional and friendly.
