Immaculately clean,peaceful and relaxing place. Rooms are quiet ,spacious and ensure a restful nights sleep. The standard of food on offer at breakfast was very good. Quality ingredients including bean to cup coffee machine,cooked options, fruit salad ,yoghurt,meats cheese assorted quality breads etc etc. Every afternoon Margrit makes a delicious home made cake- what a treat! There are lots of areas in the beautiful garden to sit and relax and the immaculately clean infinity pool is perfect. Margrit is very knowledgable about the area and can offer good advice on activities,routes and places to eat. Ideally situated to explore Panoramic Route,Blyde River Canyon and short drive to Phabeni Gate Kruger Park. There is a well stocked honesty bar too. All in all a perfect stay and one of our favourite stops on the trip so far. Highly recommended and hopefully we will return in the not too distant future.

Phil and Margi were outstanding hosts, very friendly, always eager to recommend activities in the area and give us practical tips along the way. Upon arrival, a warm welcome with Phil and Margi awaited us. The facility is well maintained and amazingly beautiful. The location is perfect to reach Kruger Park and Blyde River Canyon. We'll definitely recommend Blue Jay Lodge to friends and family and come back if we're in the country again.
