The vibe is great—warm, cozy,vintage, and beautifully designed. The owner was always very responsive and kind. There’s also parking available, and there’s a church right across the street that you can easily walk to. Overall, I was very impressed and truly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this place!

Hideaway on George Launceston is 5 minutes’ drive from Queen Victoria Museum, and 10 minutes’ drive from Cataract Gorge. Launceston Airport is a 15-minute drive away. We were warmly welcomed, and were delighted with our immaculate apartment. It was up stairs and there is no elevator, which was no problem for us but may have posed difficulties for people with heavier luggage! We found it beautifully quiet, immaculately clean, good beds, air conditioning and in a fabulously convenient location close to restaurants and the pedestrianised shopping area.
