Very good location, near to airport. Well equipped rooms and very confortable beds. Everything was good during the stay.

Beautiful building, with a lot of charm. Very nicely decorated rooms. Very practical check-in method when the reception is not occupied (code for entrance sent by sms). Delicious breakfast, provided in a beautiful room overseeing the villa's park.

Doté d'une réception ouverte 24h/24, l'ibis Budget Charleroi Airport vous accueille à Gosselies, à 5 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport de Charleroi-Bruxelles-Sud, ainsi qu'à 1 heure de route du... The guys at the reception were top notch people, very nice, social, helpful, as if you were at 5 star hotel. I will not visit personally ever again as this was too budgetty (no airco as example) but if you're on a budget and appreciate a talk with the receptionists, who are calling instantly a taxi, which arives there within 5 minutes, if you want a location which is walking distance from airport or gasstation (which serves as good as a minisupermarket) then this is really the place. Like I said - I will not visit again because it was too budgetty, call me spoiled as it is but for peeps staying 1-2 nights, who couldn't care less about small extra's, this is the perfect place. I can't say a bad thing about the staff, the breakfast was sufficient to get your stomach fulled, there's an automated pizza station outside which serves quite the acceptable quality if you ask me (a pizza lover). You can order via just-eat on your phone, download it and you're good to go. From personality perspective, I rate this all the stars I could give, double. However being a slightly spoiled person, I should have taken the things such as no airco etc. in consideration, especially with unusual weather with 26 degrees for more than 5 minutes, in Belgium. To the Italian guy behind the desk, I forgot your name but it was an awesome talk, appreciated this very much, wish you best of luck.

L'Hotel St James occupe une résidence typique du XVIIIème siècle, située à moins de 15 minutes de marche du centre-ville de Mons. Very good hotel, very close to the central square of the town, which you will definitely want to visit. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a splendid buffet with cold meats and cheese, and if you asked the very helpful lady who was on duty, she'd make you bacon and eggs. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Incidentally, there is paying off-road private parking if your car is visibly loaded with holiday stuff, but if not, there is plently of space in the public parking outside the hotel. The area is quiet and low-risk. Mons itself is well worth the visit, especially if like us, you know a bit about August 1914.
