Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. This is a very cozy place in the center of Lauterbrunnen. The room was clean, the view of the valley and the Staubbach waterfall was amazing. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

Had 2 nights of good rest. Love the Mountain view from my balcony! Could see paragliders in close promixity! Breakfast was adequate.

It’s very affordable and an excellent value for the area. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The restaurant is convenient and serves great food-also good prices considering the area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train. Some rooms have a mountain-view balcony and the hotel features an award-winning restaurant which serves a variety of quality cuisine using fresh local products. Excellent location less than 5 min walking from the station and cable car to Männlichen. Staff is friendly and helpful (when asked for hiking tips, excellent advice was provided). Views from room were stunning and room was well set up. Would absolutely stay here again.

Victoria - Alpine Boutique Hotel & Fine Diningis a 5-minute walk from the Sherlock Holmes Museum. The Reichenbach Falls are a 10-minute drive from the hotel. The city of Bern is just over an hour away by car. The hotel staff (and gifts) made us feel very welcome. The design was luxurious, we had everything we needed after a long day of trekking and the breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland!

Built in 1881, the family-run Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, and offers you completely renovated rooms in a traditional Alpine style and free WiFi. Everything about our stay was amazing. The mountain view was breathtaking from the moment you woke up in the morning until you went to sleep at night. We enjoyed breakfast and the lovely atmosphere of dinner at night. Afterwards, we would sit in the lobby area drinking tea and relaxing with the entire family.
