The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake Lucerne, the Chapel Bridge, and the closest bus stop. Free WiFi is available. It was newly opened in December 2022 and is a fully automated boutique hotel with flexible room access with mobile key. The location was excellent. The accommodations were comfortable and the staff were able to resolve the few things we needed on short notice and without even having to call.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Free WiFi access is available. Beautiful location with an amazing view. The room was quite spacious with a large bathroom and good shower. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. We dined in the restaurant one night which was a treat - an amazing chandelier to see there. Service was attentive but discreet, food pricey for what it was but it was still enjoyable experience. Staff were very friendly and equally helpful. The Funicular which took you down to street level was a real bonus & made getting into Lucerne v easy. Parking also on site which was v useful. Staying here was one of the highlights of our Switzerland/Italy road trip.

Right on the shore of Lake Lucerne, Hotel Seerausch in Beckenried offers panoramic lake and mountain views, a lakeside bar, and free WiFi. The restaurant serves Swiss and international cuisine and a selection of fine wines and beers. Great location near the water! Just so peaceful with our room balcony facing the pristine waters and awesome green mountains. The restaurant below was pricey but food and service were excellent. Free parking and the breakfast was a delight. Luzern is just a 20 minute ride by car.
