Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre. It features collections of ancient Chinese antiques, modern art galleries, a Chinese-style courtyard and accommodation with free wired internet access. Great location, very good breakfast, especially the famous Guilin rice noodle. But I particularly love the artistic decorations throughout hotel and room with traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy and wooden furniture, some of them are real antics. Only regret is I that we stayed there only one night as a transit point to Yangshuo ferry.

Super friendly and helpful staff who helped book show tickets and places to visit. Definitely rent a scooter which make the trip even more authentic, and also Yangshuo is pretty congested and impossible to get a taxi or you stay in traffic in peak touristic season.

We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. All meals were excellent! We were able to preorder our food so that it could be ready when we were back exploring. The homecooked meals were much needed after a week of hotel food prior to us arriving at Longji One Art.

Seven Star Park is 800 metres from Zen Tea House Seven Stars Park, while Elephant Trunk Hill is 900 metres away. It takes 15 minutes by car to Guilin Railway Station. Liangjiang International Airport can be reached in 1 hour's car journey. This is a phenomenal Hotel. The staff is fantastic and the rooms are clean and comfy and everything works well. The location is a moderate walk to downtown but it's also right next to a very vibrant strip of restaurants and the like. You definitely don't feel like you're living in a tourist area but you're instead of getting to see daily life all around you. At the hotel itself everything was so smooth and they even give you about your for a free coffee. It was great to see it by the river in the morning.
