Located in a former school building, the family-run Hotel Volkschule offers comfortable rooms in central Hamburg. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel. Le calme de la chambre. Excellente literie. Douche très revigorante !! Petit-déjeuner très copieux et le personnel très agréable et discret. Le métro est à 100 mètres. Un magasin Liddl juste en face si l'on veut faire qq courses. A noter aussi la décoration originale de l'hôtel, ancienne école avec des bureaux, cartables, crayons ou équerres ! Très chouette !

The MADISON Hotel Hamburg is located in central Hamburg, just 200 metres from the St. Michaelis Church. It offers large studios, a stylish bar, and a restaurant serving international food. We had a great stay at The Madison! The room and bathroom were among the larger ones we've had in Europe, and there was nice counter space in the bathroom as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms and public spaces were clean. Dinner at Marley's Restaurant was so good the first night that we ate there again the second night (Thai coconut soup, Caesar salad, chicken Singapore, and creme brulee were all delicious). The parking garage was easy to find with decent sized spaces, although some were blocked off due to the concrete breaking up (arriving between 5-6 pm on a Friday, there were multiple spaces available). The location was walkable to every place we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Centrally situated in a quiet side street, this 3-star superior hotel is located between the lively St. Pauli district and the Schanzenviertel district. Hôtel magnifique au calme et presque au centre de ST. Pauli Un accueil à la réception très agréable et serviable. L'équipe du restaurant et du bar au top de top. Un très bon petit déjeuner bien garni avec une omelette faite à la demande. Le patron, un fin connaisseur des vins.

Occupant un bâtiment historique des années 1920, l'Apartment040 propose des appartements indépendants bénéficiant des services d'un concierge sur place. L'appartement était juste parfait, très moderne et confortable, silencieux et très bien équipé. L'emplacement était top, à cinq minutes du métro sur la ligne permettant de rejoindre en quelques minutes la gare ou l'hôtel de Ville. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet hébergement.

And the local area has tonnes of good restaurants and bars. Despite the location, it's really quiet, the windows are amazing. Comfy beds too. Oh, and if you tell them you don't want your room cleaning, you can take a beer from the mini bar for every day that's skipped!
