Within a tree-lined Victorian terrace, this 5-star boutique hotel is located in the fashionable West End, only 30 minutes' drive from Loch Lomond. Its oak-panelled bistro serves fresh, Scottish cuisine and over 300 wines. what a magnificent hotel. every room is different. all have so much character. this old building feels a bit like hogwarts. I am sure some of the stairs moved, and some of the pictures talked. we spend hours roaming around the hotel looking for hidden gems like the reading room and even the gym (not really a gem but it was fun looking for it). breakfast is a bit pricey for what you get but the room and the buffet are beautiful. staff is amazing, funny, smart, nice and professional. I would definitely come back. hopefully soon.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. The bed and breakfast features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Thoughtfully & tastefully planned, comforts of home. The room was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was large & well designed with modern fittings. Alan, the owner & host gave us very warm welcome, shared much about Scotland’s history. He was very hospitable & attentive. Breakfast was sumptuous and personally cooked by Allan himself. Will certainly visit the property again should we visit Scotland in the future.

The property is situated 4.9 km from Hampden Park, 6.2 km from House for an Art Lover and 7.1 km from Ibrox Stadium. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. It was such a lovely stay and I felt so accommodated with early check in. I will absolutely be back!

Traditionally decorated, the bedrooms at Gowanlea Guest House all feature a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. Guests can also enjoy tea/coffee making facilities. Really homely and comfortable. The hostess was fabulous, room warm and inviting . The breakfast was excellent - homemade and tasty.

The bright apartments each have a spacious living area with sofas and a flat-screen TV/DVD player. The separate bedrooms have luxury linens, and all apartments have a modern bathroom.

The stylish fitted kitchens feature an oven, microwave and refrigerator, and kitchenware is provided. Laundry and ironing facilities are available, and there is also a dining area. I've booked with these property owners before and they are wonderful. They met us at check in time and the rooms were cozy and nice. A great location in Merchant City near to everything.
