The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.

When we came, it was a very rainy day, so that was a perfect way of relaxing after a long drive to the Lake District. Breakfast was great, fresh and good quality.

We also had lunch and dinner couple of times and were always very satisfied with the food and service.

Great location, very nice staff, excellent breakfast. Loved the town of Ambleside. Large room.
