Friendly and hugely welcoming hosts. It was so lovely to meet John and Steph, a real delight. It was great the get some history of the area and excellent recommendations for walks and places to eat. As the other reviews said, the breakfast was also a highlight of our stay. So delicious! And watching the birds whilst having breakfast was just joyful. A real gem of a place, thoroughly recommended to everyone.

Parts of the building date back to 1650 and still feature beautiful period features, such as original wooden beams, handmade bricks and ship timbers. The lodge’s rich history means it has a wealth of character and original charm. Excellent welcome from the owners and staff. Made you feel at home. Beautiful room in a quaint hotel. Delicious home cooked breakfast. The hotel is in a very close walking distance to a range of amenities including lovely pubs and restaurants. Stunning part of the country. Thoroughly enjoyed our two day break.

Each of the 13 boutique style rooms has an en-suite bathroom with either a walk-in shower or shower over bath. They also have Nespresso coffee machine and tea/coffee making facilities. Comfortable, lovely staff, cosy bar area, good breakfast, fantastic room!

In Sway, within the beautiful New Forest, The Manor at Sway features leafy gardens and a traditional restaurant. Its luxury bedrooms are set in a grand Edwardian house. Sway train station is just a 4-minute walk away. The manor was very comfortable and in lovely grounds. The staff were very helpful and responsive to any request or question. A very nice breakfast was included either full English or Continental or both. Would definitely stage again.

You can walk directly into the forest from the hotel gardens or visit the local museums, attractions and gardens. It is only a short distance to Southampton, Lymington yacht harbour and Beaulieu.

There are 17 individually designed bedrooms, each with a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom. great staff, great location but please cater for people with luggage

It was nice and welcoming and we felt comfortable

The restaurant uses local produce and there is a relaxed waterside bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too difficult for them during our stay.

Beresfords, our 2 AA Rosette award winning restaurant offers some of the finest locally sourced food in the area. Our second restaurant The Lodge Kitchen and Bar with pizza oven, is a beautifully decorated "stretched tent" which opens onto our delightful outdoor Terrace. Excellent facilities, room and the staff were lovely. Even stopped for dinner every night of the trip!
