Set in the South Downs National Park, the Badgers Inn is just a 5-minute drive from Petworth village. Fresh, local produce is served in the restaurant which specialises in shellfish during the summer and game in the winter. What a wonderful place. My room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. The restaurant was very tasty, friendly and well done. My included breakfast the next morning was excellent. I was traveling alone and felt welcome and safe. I highly recommend Badgers Inn.

This is a charming and delightful former country train station, 2 miles outside Petworth Village and close to Petworth House. Our accommodation was in the restored classic Pullman train carriages, each converted into 2 en-suite bedrooms. The carriages stand along the platform next to the station building, where a satisfying breakfast is served ion the old waiting room! The carriages themselves are fitted out with a good sized double bed. Most of the original paneling and decor has been retained and the room is decorated with period artifacts which give authentic character to the whole experience.

This is a gem of a place. Great location in Lewes with cafes, pubs , parks , shops etc within easy walking distance. The property is very comfortable and beautifully presented with thoughtful attention to detail: welcome packs for us and our small well behaved dog;lovely fluffy towels and nice bed linen , helpful advice and instructions when requested. We enjoyed the original artwork on the walls and interior design.
the house was absolutely stunning with incredible interior design. Everything was in perfect condition. Absolutely fantastic location, parking only £2.80 for 24hour period, in a gorgeous village with beuatiful shops & cafes. We visited lots of local pubs and their local indian which was one of the best indians we've ever had! The outside courtyard & dining room is perfect on a sunny day. Couldn't have asked for more from a little getaway weekend- wish we'd stayed longer! Very efficient & easy to contact host aswell!
