I’ve been in Delhi 3 times and this was definitely the best! My room was also extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was splendid . The owner of the property and team also gave me great tips for restaurants and markets. I really felt home!

It's in a quiet residential area with easy connections to a lot of places. Shopping areas and restaurants and markets are nearby. The Metro station is close and it's easy to get autorickshaws and cabs. The best part of Colonel's retreat are the staff who are incredibly friendly and helpful. We were very well taken care of. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. Colonel's retreat is a much better option than some impersonal hotel chain offering.

Free WiFi access is available. Easy to find and as advertised online. Staff were attentive and very helpful. Easy to get taxis to the airport. Had an early morning activity planned which meant leaving at 5am and staff had a packed breakfast ready for me when I went to the lobby.

The rooms are spacious and hotel has quite fast check in and check out. The food quality is unmatchable by any restaurants in India. The taste of food would be loved either you take on buffet or dine-in in your room. People from reception to restaurants are very helpful. I would always recommended to book again or anyone who wants to enjoy food and hospitality at top notch.

Unique in design and colour, Ajanta’s air-conditioned rooms come with satellite TV, a safety deposit box, minibar and tea/coffee making amenities (as per rate plan). Each room has a private bathroom with shower facilities. Hotel was superb. Neat, clean, beautifully decorated. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and really good with lots of options. Front desk staff helped us with transportation. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again!
