It's a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Hofn where there are a few nice restaurants. I don't think there is a better place to stay in this area.

The room had a little coffee maker and we asked for a kettle which was provided. The staff was nice and the location was secluded enough to not suffer light pollution but close to meeting spots for tours and the diamond beach.

Country Hotel Hali has rooms with a private bathroom and a work desk. The buffet breakfast was nice. Our dinner was fantastic, except it was a bit expensive. We stayed in the family unit which was complete with a nice and well-equipped kitchen. The living area was big with dining table. The hotel is beside the beach which is very nice and beautiful.
