Hraunsnef Country Hotel features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bifrost. The hotel offers both free WiFi and free private parking.

The units at the hotel come with a seating area and a flat-screen TV. Every room includes a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, while certain rooms will provide you with a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. We had a lovely tiny cottage that was so cool. Although tiny, it had everything, a full kitchen, bathroom, etc. The morning breakfast is amazing, with a variety of options, and the restaurant overall just exceeded or expectations by a mile. The food was sooooooooo good, it is worth to stop by only to get a bite or two ;-) Btw, there are also two hot tubs with clean water - that was an amazing experience as well.

Found 23 km east of Snæfellsnes National Park, this hotel offers bright, modern rooms with private bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. Snæfellsjökull Volcano is within 20 minutes’ drive.

Hotel Búdir’s light, airy rooms have a TV, DVD player and hairdryer. Most have showers, while some include an in-room bathtub. Each room features glacier, lava fields or sea views. Beautiful facilities, many parts looked new. Spectacular location. The staff was great. They asked if we would like to have them knock on our door if auroras were sighted. They did knock on our door, and we saw some beautiful auroras. All the better because the location is isolated with very dark skies.

Set in Bolungarvík and only 14 km from Pollurinn Hot Spring, Einarshúsid Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The accommodation features a concierge service and bicycle parking for guests. Lovely building that feels like a museum. Don't forget to check out the basement with its antique furniture and radio etc. Comfy beds, good shower, great floorboards and original decor. It wasn't built as a lodge, so noise does penetrate but this is a reflection of the behavior of the guests, nothing else. And no, bed bugs don't exist.
