Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple. It is located 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and provides luggage storage space. Museum of History and Folklore is 1.1 km from the ryokan and Shiraito Falls is 1.5 km away. The hotel was just minutes from the port. The host was extremely helpful. Good coffee and tea available and a small area with homemade craft items for sale. The room was spacious including a balcony-like alcove looking toward the sea. The name - moon rabbit - was very fitting.

This is arguably the best hotel in Miyajima: not only it’s right outside the ferry station, which is the most convenient when traveling to the island, but it is also very clean, comfortable and the staff is attentive and respectful. One more thing: it’s an excellent catch for the price!!!

The hotel is located in between the Hiroshima Station and Peace park. It's about 15 minutes walk either Way. There's a convenience store right next to it and many restaurants around it. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The rooms are small but enough to accommodate you and your luggage. There's tea, coffee at the front free of charge.

Overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, Grand Prince Hotel is located a 15-minute drive from central Hiroshima. The hotel offers 5 dining options, a outdoor pool (only summer) and hot spring baths. The hotel is featured in Michelin Green Guide Japan 2013. A free shuttle is available from Hiroshima Station, a 30-minute ride away. The reception area is large and impressive. My room was a good size, especially as I was a single occupant, and had a sea view looking over the many islands in the area. The breakfast selection was varied and very good, catering to most tastes, and the views from the top floor restaurant are stunning. The high speed ferry pontoon is right outside the hotel. We pre-booked tickets to Miyajama in the hotel for the next day for the 20 minutes journey. We knew at the time of booking it was a little out of the city centre but we’re happy with the choice for the tranquility and sea views. There is a free shuttle bus to and from Hiroshima station and taxi fares were very reasonable. A walk from the ferry pontoon along the sea takes around 45-60 minutes to complete depending on walking speed and return route. I walked back the way I came to enjoy the sea and island views.
