Opened in April 2013 with brand new facilities, Piece Hostel Kyoto is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. It features a spacious and comfortable lounge, a tatami (woven-straw) terrace and a wall-size map with latest event information around Kyoto. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, while portable WiFi devices are available for guests to use during their stay for an additional fee. It’s locate near the JR Kyoto station. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is small but big enough for me to unpack my 2 luggages at the same time (1 big 1 carry-on). The number of shared shower room are reasonable. (some place has just 3 rooms!) I have a good time stay at Piece Hostel Kyoto.

The breakfast was also very copious and impressive. First time i slept in a futon bed but it was surprisingly comfortable. We loved our stay here. It was also very well located.

Lovely room, great location, nice to be able to enjoy on site meditation, as well as prayer ceremony and fire ritual.

Standing beside the Taki River, it features outdoor hot-spring baths and traditional in-room meals and is a 5-minute walk from Arima Onsen Train Station. The Japanese rooms have traditional futon bedding and a minibar. The hotel room was different from any hotel we had ever been. Very Japanese typical style. Everything was provided. There was even a massage chair for our private use. In the evenings while we were at dinner, the staff set up the futon beds which were very comfortable to sleep in. Before bed, we ordered Shiatsu massages, which were exceptional. The food was good! Breakfast was definitely typical Japanese style. The Onsen was amazing. The water felt so healing.
