The private onsen on the roof was fantastic. We will be staying here again without question. A short walk to the temples, deer parks and places to eat and shop. The most amazing coffee house (Norr) is less than a block away.

Set within 500 metres of Nara Station and 18 km of Iwafune Shrine, Guesthouse Nara Komachi features rooms in Nara. Featuring a shared lounge, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. Everything was super ! Cant recommend this place enough. Spacious room, decent toilet inside the room. 5 min from Nara station. Surrounded by freat restaurants and not far from Nara Park. We enjoyed our stay sooooo much!! We'll definitely try to come back soon. We were able to leave our luggage a few hours until our train departure. Notes: no cleaning during the stay but if you ned need towels or anything just let them.know or leave everything outside your door and they'll fix it for you. Incredible helpful host ♥️ and a lot of material to plan your day in the lobby. Kitchen facility available, but also sooooo many restaurants around that we tried as much as we could.
