Our rooms are designed with traditional Japanese aesthetics, featuring tatami mat flooring throughout. For those who prefer a futon on tatami or a bed, we also offer Japanese-Western style rooms. The warm ambiance is further enhanced by local artists' paintings adorning the walls. We went as a group and we loved the ryokan. It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. The rooms were the most spacious we stayed in throughout Japan, and the staff were all very kind. I would definitely stay here again.

The girl who went through all the things in the room with us was amazing, friendly and polite. great location, walking distance to everything. The Meitetsu Grand Hotel offers bright rooms with free WiFi, 3 restaurants and a sky lounge café with panoramic city views. The hotel is connected to the underground terminal and malls of Nagoya Station. It has a 24-hour reception, and drinks vending machines are on site. The hotel was very convenient. It has a lot of malls/stores at the basement. It is very close to the train station. If you need to go to the airport this is the perfect hotel. Not that expensive also. Good value for the money and the location.

The large public bath on the 3rd floor will be undergoing renovations from Monday, January 5th to Friday, January 23rd, 2026. During this period, the large public bath will be unavailable. It will be available from 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 24th.

At The Royal Park Canvas Nagoya, guests can relax in the public baths or use the designated smoking area. Luggage storage is available at the front desk. The hotel is just some couple small blocks away within walking distance from the big JR Nagoya Station. You can go pretty much anywhere from here and at the time of my stay it also partnered with Legoland Nagoya so it is possible to buy the ticket through the hotel, although I didn't try that. There is a convenient store beside the hotel so you can get food there as well. The room has an adequate space, and the bed is comfy to sleep. It's clean, they clean the room and hand out towel changes everyday unless you request otherwise. The facilities are great as well. The staff understands english to a good degree and very helpful as well. I kinda felt bad having to bother one of them to ask for some changes to use the coin laundry in the middle of the night, but they were kind enough to help. The hotel also hold my package that i send from Tokyo safely until my arrival. I got a really good price when I stay here, I couldn't even believe I got a hotel this good in Japan for the price but it was low season so price might change and fluctuate depending on condition. Overall, a great place to stay with good room, helpful staff and great price! I hope to come to Nagoya again someday :)

Hida Takayama Hodakaso Yamano Iori is just a 3-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Old Town and Takayama Jinya and Miyagawa Morning Market. The hotel is located in the center of Takayama city, and there are many restaurants around. The Japanese-style accommodation offers spacious public baths. No meals are provided, but bread and soup are provided as light meals in the room. Free parking is provided on site. This stay was one of my favorites during our trip to Japan. What made it so special was the attention to detail from the people at the reception. When we arrived, it was so cute to see our names on the banners outside to welcome us. I appreciated that, even though I have many tattoos covering my body, they allowed me to participate in the hot baths. They were very attentive and always present to anything we needed (umbrellas, adaptors for electrical sockets, extra towels, etc.). The location was close to everything, and since we did not have a car, it helped us a lot with getting around the area. When we checked out, they were so kind that they kept our bags till our next bus left in the afternoon. We spent only two nights here, but next time we wish to stay longer! Thank you for all.
