L'Hotel Posada de la Luna est situé dans le centre-ville d'Antigua Guatemala, à 50 mètres du marché artisanal Mercado de Artesanias. Je tiens à remercier le personnel très accueillant, gentil , disponible. L’équipe en place faisait tout pour nous satisfaire et répondre à nos demandes (transport à l’aéroport, nettoyage des vêtements...). C’est un plaisir d’être si bien reçue. Merci à tout le personnel de posada de la luna, vous êtes incroyables! J’ai adoré la chambre vue volcan, merveilleux. Les lits sont confortables. Le lit double est petit pour deux mais n’empêche pas de bien dormir. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. L’emplacement est idéal: pas trop près du centre et donc au calme, en même temps, c est proche de tout. Je recommande cet hôtel. Merci encore

Back to La Piazzetta for the second time and it was the best decision during our roadtrip in the Yucatan Peninsula! I remembered Piazzetta being a family-owned hotel in a beautiful setting with traditional rooms, lovely views and welcoming people! Our stay exceeded my expectations! We were welcomed by Leo (the owner) and it immediately felt we came back to visit old friends! Leo helped us and gave us recommendations of what not to be missed that same evening and the day after, restaurant options and must-do's! The room was big enough for four people (we were with three) and it had all the needed amenities! Perfectly clean and comfortable. We highly appreciated the coffee/juice/brioche mini breakfast offered the morning after, the help with carrying the luggage and the attention to details. We were quite sad we only booked for 1 night but it's definitely a place I would be returning in the future! Still lots to see in the area and such a beautiful welcoming place does make the whole experience much much better!

Situé à quelques pas du Central Park d'Antigua Guatemala et à 30 mètres de l'Arc de Santa Catalina, le San Rafael Hotel occupe un bâtiment de style colonial. We absolutely loved this hotel! It is without a doubt one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. I loved how convenient it is to everything (literally right beside Santa Catalina Arch), and yet as soon as you pass through the gate you feel like you are tucked away in a tranquil and private oasis with a beautiful secret garden in the central courtyard. Each room in this hotel is different and some are larger than others. We were not able to stay in the same room both nights due to availability, which gave us a chance to experience two different rooms: room 1 and room 3. Room 1 was absolutely amazing. It is huge and has high, vaulted ceilings and a large fireplace and sitting area. The bathroom is set apart around the corner and the shower also has a vaulted ceiling, chandelier, and skylight. Everything felt very grand. I appreciated the makeup mirror that was provided so I could get ready without turning on all the lights and waking up my husband. Room 3 is still very nice but smaller and less grand than Room 1 (it doesn’t have a vaulted ceiling or separate sitting area in front of the fireplace). If we had stayed in Room 3 first I think we would have loved it, but it was a bit of a letdown coming from the huge and extravagant Room 1. With that said, Room 3 is not right on the central courtyard, so it feels a little quieter and more private. I think every other room is on the main courtyard, aside from the big suite (which is just beyond Room 3 in its own courtyard). The San Rafael is a small hotel (I think there are only 6 or 7 rooms) and it feels very intimate and boutique-like. A few other pluses about this hotel: First, I really loved taking breakfast outdoors in the courtyard surrounded by the beautiful garden, and second, it felt very safe. The gate locked behind you when you walked out on the street so even in broad daylight you still had to ring a doorbell to get in. At night, there is a door and a gate. All told, we absolutely loved this hotel.
