Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. Great location in Little India and close to many of the top attractions in George Town. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times during my stay. The room was very clean and well equipped with everything I needed, and the coffee/tea station in the hallway was a nice extra touch. Overall, an amazing stay in George Town!

Individually designed rooms are fitted with classic wood furnishings and air conditioning. They have a safe, hairdryer and tea/coffee maker. Breakfast was phenomenal. Toured the hotel and loved learning its history. Staff know you and are ready to help in any way. Plenty to see as soon as you walk out the door but also a pleasure to spend time in the room.

The bathroom is almost as big as some rooms in inner city hotels in e.g., Tokyo. The seating area with the sofa was great for relaxing in the evening. I also liked that we had plenty of water (and other minibar items) everyday, including a newspaper. The breakfast at Sarkies was great; we especially liked the Omelette and Roti station, and also the Kue Talam. Lastly, we mostly stayed at the Heritage Wing pool, which is very scenic, with the ocean on one side and the historic building on the other.

A beautiful historic building with an updated pleasant interior. Attentive friendly staff with good suggestions about what to see in Penang. Very clean. Great breakfast. I would certainly advise friends to stay there

Private but conveniently located. Clean and well-maintained. Staff were excellent: Friendly, personal and helpful.

One of the nicest boutique hotels I have stayed in anywhere. The attention to detail with everything is incredible. I’d definitely go back 👍

Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown, Coffee Atelier is a collection of 5 beautifully-restored shophouses dating back to 1927. Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. We had an amazing room on the ground floor. The room was very big and had shower and restroom in the garden only for us. Air conditioning and fan were working properly and great for the town heat. Ruby was super nice, talkative and responsive. She helped us arranging an heritage tour of the town with an English speaking guide, Mr Yeap. The walk was around 4 hours , pretty intensive and interesting. We had breakfast too with eggs and fruits but you could choose having something else. We tried also Christophs restaurant twice and it was a delicious experience. Do not miss the cheap beer place just around the corner. It is called cheap beers on Maps and it is full of local and tourists. Cheap cheap beer starting from 6RM

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. The stuff is lovely ,the place feel like back to home, the food so yuuuuuumy😋
