A communal kitchen with all facilities is available for all guests at Hardanger Hostel B&B. A buffet breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. They were super accommodating and looked after our bags overnight while we hiked Trolltunga. Very friendly lady on the front desk.

Housed in a listed building from 1857, Thon Hotel Sandven’s individually decorated rooms have a private bathroom with shower. Some offer fjord views and a balcony. Loved the charm and character of the building and its location. Superb view of the fjord and the beautiful town. Staff very friendly and co-operative, and while I appreciate that we chose to be in the older part of the building, there could have been an offer to carry bags for older visitors.
