Brin and Biddy made us feel very welcome in their comfortable annex which included a wide choice of breakfast items. We also used their bikes to cycle to Mission Winery for wine tasting. The property is beachfront so if you like a morning swim they have a warm outside shower. A Great stay!

Art Deco Masonic Hotel is located in the centre of Napier, just 10 minutes’ drive from Hawke's Bay Airport. It is 2 minutes' walk from the main street of Marine Parade and located opposite MTG Hawke’s Bay and The Art Deco Centre. It was so wonderful to stay somewhere with such a rich history. There are so many lovely historic touches like door plaques, light fittings, artwork, etc. The room was modern and had a great tea nook, a curtained baggage/wardrobe area and comfortable bed. I appreciated the guest laundry facilities, and loved relaxing on the balcony in the evening. All of the front desk attendants were so helpful. I also loved the bathtub in my room and surprisingly powerful hairdryer.

All apartments have a kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. Each is decorated in warm colours, and most have a private balcony with lovely ocean views. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again. Very clean. The double glazed doors kept the traffic noise out. With the bedroom at the back it was very quiet.
