Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. There is free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. We recently stayed two nights here and couldn’t be more pleased with our choose of accommodation. The unit was spacious enough for a couple, very clean and came with a well equipped kitchen. A quick drive to all the hiking trails. Parking was available right in front of our unit. Staff were also super lovely and friendly. Let’s not forget the spectacular view of the mountains from our room. We will definitely be back!

Each of the 3 studios have a sky window for stargazing from your bed, and an en suite bathroom including a shower, heater, underfloor heating, toiletries and a hair dryer. Fantastic position. Comfortable, clean, well equipped studio. We loved sitting at the front looking at the amazing views.

Matuka Lodge has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Twizel.

Fitted with a patio, the units offer air conditioning and feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Quite honestly one of the most well appointed rooms I have ever stayed in. The made to order breakfast was a great addition!

The tour desk can book helicopter and ski plane flights for those seeking an adventure. You can relax in the guest lounge area which offers a warming fireplace and lovely views from the deck. A communal dining area can be found on site. Shared lounge with necessary amenities to cook a hot meal after a hike.

Peppers Bluewater Resort is a 4.5-star hotel close to the shores of Lake Tekapo. This resort offers luxury accommodation, great views and is ideally positioned for exploring the Mackenzie Basin and Southern Alps. It is a 10-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd. Everything is so perfect, stunning view, modern style, comfortable&large rooms and very nice staff.

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Guests enjoy free WiFi and views of the surrounding Rollesby Range and Mt Burgess. We spent just one night in this motel on our way to Christchurch and we rate it very highly. The unit was cosy and warm, the bed very comfortable and we slept well. The hosts are friedly and welcoming. It was extremely good value!

Three Rivers Lodge is located off the southern banks of Lake Tekapo, in the shadow of New Zealand’s picturesque Southern Alps. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Firstly, I was upgraded absolutely free of charge to a room with a stunning view. Andy was so lovely and took time out of his day to recommend some places to visit and how much they would cost. The accommodation has excellent views of the Lake and is only a 2 minute drive from the restaurant. The room itself has amazing bathroom facilities and amenities (fridge, microwave ect) and a little table and chairs where you can eat food with a view. If you are like me - don't worry about parking.
