Designed with Charme. There are several common rooms: a library, several seating areas, a large playroom.. The breakfast was very good.
The hotel is in a perfect location, especially when travelling by train. The small park between the central railway station and the hotel distances the building from the business and noise of the streets. The interior design of the lobby and restaurant is moody and accentuates the period features of the building pleasantly. The room itself was nice and tidy, although quite outdated. We did not mind, as we enjoyed the old world charm of it.
Friendly and helpful staff. We asked for one of our rooms to be changed (air conditioning outside unit noise) and reception staff supported us without hesitation. Reception staff helped explain car parking options. Breakfast was good, and rooms had a nice, no-nonsense and slightly maritime design.
Wow!!! I hadn't really understood what I had booked, and I was quite blown away at how gorgeous it was... it was our last night of a 19-day Scandinavian trip, and we spent it at this stunning estate... everything was just perfect!
A dream bed! A big and shiny bathroom! – What more can you want from a hotel? – Well, posh interior design too, and your own balcony! – That’s it, no hotel better than Palace Hotell Hultsfred.
