Loved the design of the room, aircon was great, there was hot water. Host provided a lot of free snacks. We could access the rooftop which was really nice.

Stunning room! Better than the photos. Wonderful views, gorgeous design, very modern yet comfortable, free parking, good breakfast.

Clean, modern and well designed, good amount of space, and located near the train station and food. (Tip: the Chinese chiropractor, not the massage parlour, just opposite, is very good). Cheaper than staying in central Taipei but connected by mrt (about 45 mins). Tamsui is a lovely place to be in - lovely coastal views (just 5 mins walk from the residence), great food options, much less crowded and noisy than central Taipei. Staff were helpful and prompt with their replies.

Great design, very spacious room. For the price it would be great if they managed to organise some breakfast too, but the location is super, right on Yingge old street and a quick walk from the station and the ceramics museum.

The Hotel is at an amazing location, you can enjoy the hot springs direct in the Hotel Spa. It’s tasteful designed and the staff is lovely and helpful.

They only accept cash payment which make things difficult. Overall looks clean but it is quite old fashioned design. Some corners of the room are very dusty. Since is quite affordable, ok for Jiu Fen one night stay.

Nice design, like an old townhouse. The traditional bed was beautiful and the balcony had a great view. The female staff was very friendly and helped us even after we checked out and checked in nearby. Wifi very fast and stable, good enough to do a bit of work. Location is perfect, accessible by taxi (I recommend you get one from Ruifang, otherwise prepare to walk through the busy streets with your luggage) and a short walk to the end (and quieter side) of Old Street. Teahouses are a 5 mins walk.

Traditional house artistically restored and peppered with modern comforts. Loved the use of natural materials and the design of the interior. It is a beautiful and relaxing place to be in, and there is much thought put into the design and details of the room. We were greeted by our lovely host who was very warm and welcoming. It is not a far drive from Jiufen. This was one of the best stays on my trip.

The breakfast was incredible — great variety, great view, great cat! The owners were friendly too; my party arrived late at night and the owner kindly offered us a free breakfast the following morning. Not to mention, the apartment itself exceeded our expectations... the architecture and interior design were to die for. Could not recommend this place enough.
