We had two rooms, both of which were extremely comfortable. The beds and bed linen were superb and the staff very pleasant and professional. There was coffee and tea in the room as well as a snack, plus a minibar and luxury toiletries. The breakfast was delicious. We can highly recommend.

The Hotel is powered by an inverter and solar panels for full service during load shedding times. The rooms have lighting outside on their patio's as well as inside the rooms. There is bathroom lighting and strong wifi signal in the rooms when there is loadshedding. The breakfast room was charming with a lovely outdoor courtyard. Breakfast was delicious.

Featuring views of the Atlantic Ocean, White Shark Guest House is located in Kleinbaai, 400 metres from the harbour. It offers elegant rooms, a large living room, and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Each room at the White Shark is decorated in a mix between rustic and contemporary, including exposed brick walls and modern furniture. They all offer a private bathroom, and some come also with a spa bath. We had an amazing stay at the White Shark Guest House. Marius was very welcoming and helpful when checking in. The guest house was very clean and comfortable and the views were spectacular. The guest house is the perfect location if you are doing shark cage diving. Thank you Marius for accommodating us after our dive even though it was after check out time! We'll definitely be back if we are in the area again.

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. The lodge features a splash pool and uninterrupted views of Gansbaai harbour, Walker Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains. I was made to feel so welcome from the moment I arrived by everyone and it was such a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere - nothing nicer than listening to the waves breaking especially at night. Ninja the cat also came to make sure that I had settled in properly. The breakfasts were great and the cooked breakfast arrived hot - the tea was also hot when it arrived. The Lodge is also central to everything and within easy walking distance.

We stayed in the penthouse suite, and it was absolutely amazing! 🏖️ The room was incredibly spacious, with panoramic windows offering breathtaking views of the ocean — we even spotted whales! 🐋 Complimentary wine and a fully stocked minibar, along with a coffee machine, snacks, and fresh fruits, added a luxurious touch. The suite also featured a steam room and jacuzzi, which were fantastic for relaxing. The warm welcome with coffee and juices set the tone for a great stay ☕🧃. Breakfast was excellent, with made-to-order omelets or eggs and a delicious buffet. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. 🙌 The location was perfect — all the best restaurants are just a 5-minute walk away, and there’s an oceanfront trail ideal for walks and runs with stunning views 🌊🏃‍♂️. Highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Hermanus! 🌟

Katherine was the best host ever!!! My friend, and I book this a few hours before staying at Kapensis! Katherine helped us with every request we asked from sending us the GPS coordinates to pharmacies and a great dinner restaurant. She went above and beyond driving to the restaurant to meet us once we were finished the help assist us in finding the Properties location (GPS issue with our phones). She even gave us medicine for our allergies!

All of the rooms at Swellendam Guest House have a veranda with direct access to the garden. The rooms feature a satellite TV, a minibar and a fan. Some rooms offer views of the Langeberg Mountains. Everything, the guest house owner paid attention to details you can notice this very quickly from the entrance to the room to how he treats your request. I will come to this guest house for sure again if I pass by the same area. The facilities are well maintained.
