Wonderful quiet room on 4th floor, great view of sheep, loved hearing them each morning. Bus transport to & from city centre was quick & easy. So convenient to be able to rent bikes from the hotel. Ruth & the gal that worked Saturday morning & yesterday @ the front desk were so courteous , helpful & friendly…thank you so much!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at 't Fraeyhuis. This boutique hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of a charming medieval town, surrounded by picturesque streets and historic architecture. The atmosphere is truly special—quiet, peaceful, and full of character.
The hotel itself is a perfect mix of old-world charm and modern comfort. The rooms are newly renovated in a stylish, contemporary design, yet the common areas, including the stunning courtyard garden and cozy bar, reflect a lovely medieval-inspired aesthetic. It’s the best of both worlds.
Our room was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable with high-quality box spring mattresses, and despite the central location, it was completely quiet at night. The hotel is tucked into a delightful neighborhood, making it the perfect base for exploring the city on foot.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and luxurious stay in beautiful surroundings.

Very comfortable and cosy room with a nice view towards the nearby canal. The check-in was a self-check-in that went seamlessly with all the information provided in a timely manner. The guide of local places was also very appreciated to get an idea of places where one could get something to eat and drink in the evening. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
