The single room was very clean. It had a good size and was very comfortable. For a hostel it was superb! It was great that the Hostel was not too far distant from the West Lake. The staff was also very friendly and kind. I would totally recommend this place!

The owner of the hotel (Jason) is very kind, helpful, and polite. He really went out of his way to make sure the trip was special. The hotel itself was comfortable and cozy, in a good location that is close to major tourist attractions, but still a peaceful and relaxing place. The Lingyinsi temple is 10 minutes walk away, and West Lake is also a short taxi ride away (or if you like walking you can walk there in 50-60 minutes, partly along the ancient pilgrim path). The food at the hotel was served beautifullly and the taste was very good. I am vegetarian and this was no problem for Jason, who made sure dietary preferences were catered for. The room was clean and had a good selection of amenities, and also very warm even in the January snow. I would definitely return to this hotel, and also plan to look for the owner's other hotels in China.

The host/owner was very helpful in all aspects, she would run with you to get to the bus to my school, she was even ready to hand in some coins for the bus. Also they were insightful if you want to explore Hangzhou in terms of transportation option so you can enjoy sight seeings. During free time, they would share thoughts about the place, the people and your experiences. During my last few days, they also helped me to book a train ticket going to Xiamen for my next destination. The secret of a genuine service is the heart and the willingness to help others and for me they were very much willing to help in all aspects. Special thanks to Jason for picking me up from the airport and assisted me to go subway for my next trip. If I'll go back to Hangzhou, I will definitely stay at Hangzhou Citynest Music B&B again just give me more discounts, just joking. Thank you and more powers!
