Excellent location next to an area with restaurants and street food. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even they didn’t speak English. They used a translator and communication was ok. The room was extremely clean, tidy and comfortable and the accommodation included a nice breakfast

Everything was really perfect. Fantastic, spatious room, extremely kind and helpful staff, and small touches like fruit platter or free ginger tea since I was coming down with cold. Spotlessly clean and excellent breakfast. I personally like Chinese breakfast, but there was also a broad choice for those preferring Western version.

We discovered the hotel by chance, and it turns out it was such a gem. The room was so comfortable and cozy, clean and pretty, the hotel was in such a lovely location with a local flavor and in a historical building, which is something rare. I slept on one of the most comfortable beds I slept on in all hotels. The room has floor heating in the winter, which is such comfort. The staff were warm and helpful and welcoming. I'd definitely return and would recommend it to anyone.

Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10. Insane value for money. The breakfast was amazing, the room was comfortable and clean. It really felt like a 5 star hotel.

This was our first stop in Yunnan and I have to say the hotel was amazing! It must be quite new, as everything still looks very sparkly! Rooms are super functional, nice size and very pretty. Every restaurant we went was great! The breakfast buffet is amazing! We had a buffet dinner there for New Year's Eve and it was super good too. Once we had a small snack in the lobby lounge on the ground level and the food was also fantastic and so was the staff! Bonus points for the next door shopping mall which is very cool too. Would definitely recommend when in Kunming.

The staff was fantastic. They anticipate our needs before we asked and they were most helpful, helping us to book didi. The hotel design was perfect for travellers. Well thought out design, having the sink separated from the bathroom. They also gave complimentary drinks and snacks from the mini bar. They supplied bottled water every time we went out. Location close to MRT, mini markets, eateries and bakeries.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We took 3 Jens King rooms for the 4 of us, and everyone was very happy with the hotel. Rooms are very well appointed, clean and well-designed. Everything we needed are there. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The black-out blinds were perfect for a complete dark room at night, and the sound-proofing very good. We really like the auto hot/cold water dispenser. Every hotel room should have one! My family love the gym. This gym has to be the best equipped hotel gym that we have ever come across. It also has a lovely heated indoor pool. Pity none of us came with our swim wear as we certainly didn't expect to swim in winter. Location also very handy. 5 mins walk to the new Spring 66 Mall, which is a very nice mall. If we are ever back in Kunming, this will be the hotel we stay again and again. No brainer.
