We couldn't have been happier with our stay at l'Atelier. Marco made us feel right at home and our dog absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED playing with his dog Anna! It was a great location for us to catch Le Shuttle to England the following morning, after a wonderful nights sleep and a great breakfast. No problems with parking, which was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to England from France.

Nicely furnished, clean studio with well supplied kitchen. Futon style sofa bed was comfortable. Very close to the beach and free bus stops for getting around Calais. Anne and her husband are gracious hosts who gave us helpful sightseeing tips as well as many big and small extras during our stay, welcoming us like family. Delightful stay!

The room was very strictly French in character, no TV or radio which was great!
Plenty of sockets and a very good coffee machine, although the room was a little warm on our first night, a Dyson cooler was present in the room along with a mini fridge with a selection of water/juices etc.
The bed was big and comfortable.
There was also electric shutters on the windows.
The breakfast was lovely either English or continental options.
We had the entire floor to ourselves along with a separate loo and a big bathroom with a huge walk-in rain shower.
We made 8 new furry feline friends too, especially Freya and Ullyses.
Our hosts were brilliant and always made time for our many questions with regards to everything from where to find local attractions to explaining local driving laws.
Ample free on street parking.
Certainly the most accommodating hosts I've ever met and we will no doubt visit them again as NOTHING was too much trouble.

We will be back, it was like staying with friends rather than hosts.
