My son Max and I had a magical stay at The Balmoral. The staff were just wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extra special for Max (age 9). Our trip to Edinburgh was a special treat because he's a huge Harry Potter fan. He absolutely loved Edinburgh and all it's Potter lore but the stay in the Balmoral was by far the highlight of his trip because of how kind everyone was to us (as well as it being a beautiful luxurious hotel of course).

Perfect location, short walk to the centre of town. Modern and well furnished. Communication from the host was excellent throughout and even kindly allowed us early access to freshen up prior to the graduation we were visiting for. Parking available in the multi story across the road, expensive but convenient. Can’t fault a thing!

Passcode (keyless) entry was invaluable- never worried about carrying one more item or losing an important key! Free wifi, comfy bed, super clean area, large tv with access to personal apps like Netflix- Disney-Prime was awesome! Location was great too.
