This was not a planned stay as my partner was admitted to Attikon Hospital while we on holiday and it is the only accommodation nearby. The staff here are absolutely amazing, so friendly and willing to help with any requests I made (which were many) and were very much appreciated. The hotel is old and lacking TLC but everything worked well and I was grateful for the fridge, balcony and a comfortable bed. I have so far spent a week here in total so I feel quite settled even with its little quirks. Cafe next door, Lidl a 2 min walk away and drinks/snacks available at reception, so you couldn’t ask for anything better.

well what a great place to stay. Located opposite the train and metro station and close to bus stops. Staff were welcoming and friendly, especially the restaurant staff, who were excellent. Lots to do and see close by and Central Athens a short hop away by train. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favourite hostels! It’s a really nice, clean hostel that is SO central! I went as a female solo traveller and had the best time, and felt so safe!

Very clean room with good bed and a small balcony. Staff very friendly. Perfect location in a safe area close to shops, restaurants, metro and tram. Good breakfast.

This hotel is a true gem in the heart of Athens, only a few yards away from the Monastiraki metro station and within easy walking distance of just about everything the city centre has to offer (which is a lot). We chose a room with a view, a suite at the top, with what has to be the most jaw-dropping view in Europe: the Acropolis greeted us every morning and every evening, and that alone would be worth the stay - if you can't book that room, don't worry: there is also a rooftop terrace with the same view. The bedroom itself was fantastic and came with a huge balcony (in fact, a second living room). Staff were extremely friendly and always eager to help. Breakfast, while not spectacular, was sufficient and included several home-made items.
