This place way exceeded my expectations. It has very bad reviews but I haven't experienced basically any of them. The rooms are small, yet comfortable and you can easily stow your bags under the bed.
They also offer very minimalistic desks on wheels that make it a place where you can work as well. The Wifi was great (had 100mbs+ connection) making it a good place to work with a great view of the harbour with a lot of light entering the room.
Location is great, amazing coffeeshops & cheap local restaurants within 50 meters walking from the entrance of the hotel. The metro station too is probably 50 meters from the hotel entrance, making it a great place to discover the city.

We lived everything about the ICON Hotel. I travel regularly to Hong Kong on business and have stayed in hotels on the island twice the price and even then, the ICON Hotel in many ways was better. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, the rooms very well laid out, great views and everything we needed for a relaxing trip.
