Location is central, next to Chinatown and close to the originally Dutch old town (Kota Tua). Chinatown starts right at the back of the hotel and it is walkable to the central square of Kota Tua. We were upgraded to better rooms and they were really spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The hotel seemed extremely clean and not particularly worn out. Sound proofing of windows is decent (we even stayed during Ramadan). Transportation to and from the airport is easy enough, price with the Bluebird taxi app only about 10 EUR.

It is quite difficult to describe this hotel in words. Perhaps it could be said that it's more like an incredible museum that you can stay in at the same time. The colonial past and glory of this place breathes on you from every corner. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, we felt like a maharaja. The hotel's restaurant offers a wide selection of tempting delights and last but not least, amazing coffee from their own production.

it is definitely the best bet in Gajah mada area, the building itself is old, however the apartment was clean and livable. it's also located close to bus station(Glodok and Thaman Sari), in jakarta, where the traffic jam is absolutely terrible, you need to take the TransJakarta bus to avoid it, this apartment was very convenient. on the lobby, you have a convenient store so even if you forgot to buy something, you do not have to go out of the building. overall, this place is great.

The place was beautifully styled with an amazing view from the 57th floor – sunset was unforgettable. The extra services, all included, made it even better. From airport pick-up to having the same driver throughout, and Maysi, who shopped and cooked for us, it was unlike any experience we’ve had. Everything was great 👍 There is a door that gets directly to the mall ! Appreciated the professionalism of the staff. The pool that's open till 9pm. The proximity to the airport. Loved this room, clean and comfy, big enough for 2 people.

People from the reception is welcoming and nice, they are always willing to help you. The place have lockers with enough space for my backpack and the shared rooms also have a locker for smaller belongings. Big lockers are for free but you will need a lockepad (you can buy one in reception).
