The property is very authentically Balinese. It situated in central Ubud and backs onto the rain forest. We traveled with a family of 5 (3 teenagers). The property is situated 5min walk for the main street in Ubud. It is lovely and quite, has lovely gardens and pool. The staff were outstanding and helped us with everything. The breakfast is excellent. Way more than we could eat. The on site massage is wonderful and we booked in daily! We also walked into town every evening for dinner (approx 7min walk to the main square) and approx 25min walk to monkey forest.

Lovely staff (thanks Dewa and the others!), very helpful, great services
The place is as per the pictures, clean, well maintained and calm.
I disagree with some previous comments mentioning it's difficult to find. The location on Google map is correct and crystal clear. Just trust it.
Some comments are referring to "aggressive" stray dogs on the street to reach the place.
These are not related to Hanaka and, anyway, they are just making noise when you pass buy but are not aggressive. Nothing to worry about, just keep walking.
There is an Indomaret almost next door as well as another small shop if you need quick supply

The pool and the garden was beautiful. The bedroom and bathroom is spacious and clean. Ac was working well and not loud. The bed was huge and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, many options and have generous portions. They also served on time on my chosen time. The staff were very helpful. The location was great quiet and peaceful. There is a big grocery store infront to buy essentials. Overall i loved my stay and will definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Very friendly staff, views amazing, stayed in Garden Villa(2 store small villa) the pool area and terrace were amazing. Recomend floating breakfast as it is a fun quirk. Also, there are steps to see the river up close with small waterfall that nobody mentions. Our stay was really comfortable, and private no unnecesarry disturbances. We were relaxed and ZEN :)

It was a beautiful hotel, such a beautiful setting, with a pool looking out onto rice fields, lots of beautiful trees and flowers. A huge, comfy bed with a mosquito net, outdoor bath and shower in the private back garden. Staff were lovely, we had a free massage as part of our deal, breakfasts were great, we were able to order food there for lunch/dinner as well. It was pretty empty, as it was rainy season, so we hardly knew there were any other guests, but there are only 6 rooms in the first place, so it's lovely and quiet and just removed enough from the centre of Ubud (though it is walkable.) They also offered a free shuttle service into Ubud, which we really apprecaited.

The place is absolutely beautiful! We were overwhelmed when we first arrived just seeing it from the outside. The owner greeted us with traditional Indonesian snacks to welcome us and then just pure kindness! The photos really don’t even do it any justice…as soon as you open the double door entrance and into a stunning serene outdoor area with a beautiful pool we knew we’d hit jackpot. Then into the the room itself which was huge and filled with a beautiful scent..so calming and relaxing..as well as the amazing huge bathroom and powerful shower. The place exceed our expectations and I would highly recommend! We were only gutted we couldn’t stay longer! The owner was overly accommodating and attentive to us and any requests. Thank you so much 🙏🏼
