We had a marvellous experience at Rumah Gandrung : a very beautiful / /well decorated and peaceful place, and our hosts were so friendly and helpfull ! The breakfast was delicious and it was a real pleasure to chat with them....We really recommend this little paradise !

Exceptionally quiet and centrally located, the Malioboro Street can easily be explored on foot. The room and toilet are very basic but have everything you need. The outdoor seating area is perfect, with a market and breakfast options right at the doorstep. Very good value for money& the owners are very friendly and helpful! We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it!

Amazing service!! After staying in many of boutiques hotels in Indonesia this is easily the best place my parents have stayed. The service is truly world class and the all staff go above and beyond. We could write numerous stories of how they went above and beyond but your really need to experience for yourself. I booked for my parents who come to Jogja to celebrate his 70th birthday and he was surprised by the real hospitality from all the team who turned up to congratulate him in the most genuine way.
