Hotel has fantastic location, near Aarti ceremony and Manikarnika ghat. Very nice food. Nice view from roof terrace on river Hanga. Monkeys came to our balcony, it was so cute. We were happy.

We had a wonderful time at Vishnu Rest House. The staff was very cordial and helpful to us. The location was great, as it is located right on the Ghats and has a magnificent view of the Ganges. It is also just a few steps away from the bustling narrow streets of the old city. It is perfect as a jumping-off point to explore the city as well as to relax after a busy day walking around, while still not breaking the bank!

The caretaker - Anil was on hand all the time to help. He helped navigate our way round Varanasi. He kept the apartment clean and safe. We weer a party of 3 adults. The location is ideal with views from 3 rooms of the Gangha.

I liked several things about the hotel. First of all, the staff were super friendly, helpful and sorted out anything immediately. I liked the room and the facilities, the terrace view of the Ganges is amazing. The vegetarian food we had for lunch there was delicious. Location is great if you are interested in being close to the Ganges river and explore that part of the city. My room was big and comfortable. Cleanliness level is quite good, the double bed was very comfortable for me and the bathroom was clean, tidy and easy to use despite its small size. Most of all I liked the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, as well as the area surrounding the hotel since I am personally very interested in history and culture. Overall, I had a memorable experience and if I come back to Varanasi, I am definitely staying there again!!

The entire staff is wonderful, professional, helpful & attentive. I stayed for quite some time & like very much my room especially the world class view overlooking The Ganges. Away from the hyperactivity of this bustling city is of huge benefit as finding even a relatively quiet place here is quite a challenge. The rooftop restaurant offers breakfast, lunch & dinner so was excellent to just have to pop upstairs for meals.
