This was one of the best places we stayed in India. The owners are super nice and accommodating. You can tell they have years of experience, for instance there is free filtered water, tea and coffee available all day, and a yummy breakfast. The rooms are super clean, there is good pressure hot water, screens in the windows and the beds are comfortable. The location directly on Princess Street can’t be better.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in an old Fort Cochin house. Beautifully presented. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were wonderful. The room was immaculate, tastefully furnished, exotic petals on the bed linen, beautiful local wood furniture, big walk-in shower. Everything is very carefully curated. Breakfast was excellent and the one meal we ate in the hotel was superb. An enjoyable early morning walking tour was organised for us which was fascinating. Overall, Forte Kochi hotel was a highlight of our visit to Kerala.

I had the most amazing stay and would recommend anyone coming to kochi to stay here. The hosts were super lovely and accommodating and always ensuring I was comfortable, got home at night. I had the omelette for breakfast each morning which was delicious and filling for my day. The room is perfect for a solo traveller, particularly for size. Outside the room is a table and chairs to chill at/work. The wifi worked very well and was strong. The location was good, out of the main area, but a short walk away from it. There is a cafe with western food next door that is open for breakfast and dinner on all days except Monday, making it very easy to grab a meal. Whilst the room was perfect and everything I was after, the hosts made the stay even better. I I'll be staying here again when I return.

Amazing and personal care taken by the host . Loved the stay ❤️. The home stay is walking distance from all the main attractions in Fort Kochi. This place is fantastic - highly recommend if you are staying in Kochi! The location is perfect, the family that runs the Homestay is lovely, and they will go out of their way to help you have the best stay. The rooms are nice and the beds are big (and air conditioning is available for a small extra charge!). The family will also help you to rent scooters and plan your days/nights :)
